Hi Family and Friends,
I am in slooooooow motion...I am sooooooo relaxed! The first day here I tried TEN new drinks, everything from Cosmos to Red Stripe beer, Miami Vice, Pina Coladas etc. I was dancing in the rain and almost slipped and fell in the pool. It is very difficult not to get burned to a crisp so I have been wearing LOTS of sunblock. Our room is beautiful and the view is fabulous - I have taken amazing pictures of the scenery but Karen won't put them on the blog without people in them! It is so hot and humid that the sweat is cascading down our faces onto the keyboard (sorry you are cold!) I had three platefuls of main course at the rehearsal dinner last night - enough to feed a family of five! My good clothes are so tight I am just wearing my bathing suit.
Yesterday, Pat, Betty, Karen and I spent most of the day on the beach while the kids went in the catamaran - palm trees blowing over our heads and the water glistening to our side. We had several refreshing dips in the ocean, followed by several brain freeze inducing drinks from the bar.

WOW!! No surprises, so happy to hear that all is more than well! An all-inclusive sounds like the best place to "test out" new drinks...Hmmm, 10 a day...by the time you board the plane you should be nearing 70...Hmmm, will the Sherlock Bar be stocking up with new spirits and mixes?! Count me in..now that Frank has made me a "drinker" I'm willing to at least try!
ReplyDeleteI re read the bolg...not sure now if it is you Karen who is "speaking"! Maybe Donna?! Nevertheless, I'm game to whatever Mike stocks in his bar...not that he really needs anymore.
So glad all of you brought lots of bathing suits...by the pool and beach sounds awesome.
